A prevalent theme in many of my musings, generational ignorance stems from the idea that we gain our understanding of the world from previous generations who also gained their knowledge of the world from previous generations... While this ability has been critical to the success of human culture, it also has the ability to put modern scientific discoveries in direct competition with deeply cherished belief systems which no longer serve us well...
