I've spent a lifetime thinking about why people do what they do, and although I've got no authority to tell anybody else to believe it, I think I've got a few pretty solid ideas on what makes us tick. These podcasts were recording on a very long drive, and as I was alone in the car there was no way to double-check things or pull up references... so these are just thoughts. This one is a little long, and rambly, and personal, but that seems to be well within the wheelhouse for a discussion about the idea of love and what it can mean to a person. There's no answers here, of course, only questions and a bit of personal reflection.
